Elemental Flame
A sacred purifier who wields radiant fire, mystic discipline, and shield recovery. Nyra blends ritual timing, reactive defense, and relentless celestial pressure into a graceful but dangerous battle identity.
“You cannot silence a mind that speaks in nine voices.”
Origin & Lore
Before Nyra was a priestess, she was a child. Four spirit-friends attended her from her earliest memories: Candle Flame, the gentle warmth; Whisperleaf, the quiet healer; Luma, the fierce spark; and Noctis, the shadow-guardian. Together they formed the Heart Engine — the emotional foundation upon which all her later power was built. Her flame is fueled not by rage, but by the unbreakable bonds of childhood devotion.
A shape-shifting spirit of nine faces — Scribbler, Scholar, Trickster, Mirror, Guardian, Storm, Whisper, Dream, and Soul. When the infection tried to converge Nyra’s mind, Inky fragmented into nine forms. By being many, Inky could not be reduced to one. This became the Mind Engine: true mystic power comes not from unity of thought but from the orchestration of many selves.
Nyra’s temples are volcanic altars carved into mountainsides, aligned to catch the first light of dawn. When the shard fell, their ancient flames changed colour — rose, gold, and celestial white that the infected could not approach. Luminal Pixies gather at these altars in swirling congregations, drawn by a radiance that makes the infection falter.
Deck Identity
The highest Mysticism in the game gives Nyra 6 Energy per turn and access to Mystic Cancel (2 Energy to negate). She outpaces every other hero in resource generation.
The Four Friends (Candle Flame, Whisperleaf, Luma, Noctis) form the Heart Engine with shield recovery and field synergy. The Nine Faces of Inky provide draw filtering, action replay, and reflection.
Her hero ability lets her choose: draw 1 card or restore 10 Shield. Flexibility at its purest — always the right answer for the moment. Cooldown 2.
Apex of Duality deals 60 damage and gains 45 Shield. Catastrophe Sigil prevents lethal and fires back with 60 damage plus 45 Shield. These are game-ending plays.
